Duties and Responsibilities:

• Check patient identification and procedure before taking the patient for the procedure
• Check basket as per procedure
• Maintain proper dress code and ensure good housekeeping
• Check anesthesia equipment and required intubation set
• Evaluate patients’ pre-, intra-, and post-anesthesia responses, taking appropriate corrective actions or requesting consultation if complications occur
• Monitor patients’ responses, including skin color, pupil dilation, pulse, heart rate, blood pressure, respiration, ventilation, or urine output, using invasive and noninvasive techniques
• Assist in managing regional anesthetic techniques such as local, spinal, epidural, caudal, nerve blocks, and intravenous blocks
• Respond to emergency situations by providing airway management, administering emergency fluids or drugs, or using basic or advanced cardiac life support techniques
• Arrange orders for anesthetics, adjuvant drugs, accessory drugs, fluids, or blood products as necessary
• Assist in managing patients’ airway or pulmonary status using techniques such as endotracheal intubation, mechanical ventilation, pharmacological support, respiratory therapy, and extubation
• Report immediately to the Supervisor if any items break down, expire, are damaged, lost, or unavailable
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor
