Skills

• Installation, configuration, and setup of Guardium appliances for database activity monitoring and protection
• Installation of Guardium agents on database servers with necessary configurations for log collection
• Timely patching of Guardium appliances and license renewal
• Monitoring and evaluation of database incidents via IBM Guardium data monitoring and protection tool
• Performing data discovery and classification with stakeholders to prioritize security solution implementation
• Monitoring and auditing of all database activity, including privileged user activity
• Analysis of all database risks through data analytics of existing logs
• Analytical aptitude and detail-oriented approach
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
• Effective communication skills, including technical writing and general correspondence
• Aptitude for learning new technologies, processes, and collaborating with teams
• Knowledge of scripting and automation of robotic processes/reporting
• Proficiency in ensuring backup, disaster recovery, and data protection mechanisms
• Experience implementing cybersecurity controls for on-premises and cloud-based databases
