Duties and Responsibilities:

Procure and manage the complete range of garment accessories, including sewing threads, buttons, zippers, Velcro, care/brand tags, polybags, elastic, tapes, labels and packaging materials
Manage procurement for both local and imported items, ensuring compliance with lead times, import duties and clearance timelines
Coordinate sample approvals (lab dips, button shade matching, strike-offs) with merchants, buyers and suppliers prior to bulk purchasing
Maintain strong communication and active negotiation with local and international suppliers to secure competitive pricing, terms and lead times
Work closely with Merchandising and Planning teams to calculate exact bill of materials (BOM) requirements and safety stock levels
Monitor warehouse inventory levels to avoid stockouts or excess leftover trims post-production
Ensure all incoming accessories meet brand testing requirements (e.g., Oeko-Tex, pull tests for snaps, needle detector clearance, colorfastness)
Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team to resolve supplier defects, issue debit notes or process replacements promptly
