Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assume full responsibility for efficient operation of the Housekeeping department
• Assist in training and orientation of new hosts and conduct regular improvement sessions
• Demonstrate and guide Housekeeping hosts in performing duties according to established procedures
• Maintain effective communication with other departments for smooth daily operations
• Monitor daily arrivals and occupancy reports in coordination with Housekeeping and Laundry management
• Supervise and inspect assigned areas for cleanliness, hygiene, sanitation, order, and presentation
• Ensure Housekeeping hosts have necessary tools, equipment, and resources
• Coordinate the removal and handling of furniture, curtains, and fixtures requiring specialized cleaning or repair
• Inspect corridors, service areas, and assigned spaces for cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards
• Monitor activities within assigned areas and promptly report any irregularities or security concerns
• Ensure all Lost and Found items are properly labelled, recorded, and stored according to hotel procedures
• Issue and monitor room keys, ensuring proper control and accountability
• Respond promptly to guest requests, complaints, and feedback related to Housekeeping
• Schedule and monitor deep-cleaning projects as required
• Ensure Housekeeping offices, storage areas, and equipment are properly maintained, organised, and stored
• Monitor stock levels and control inventories of linen, cleaning supplies, equipment, and other departmental materials
• Monitor departmental expenses and minimise waste through responsible use of resources
• Assist in conducting host performance reviews and establishing improvement plans
• Identify and report health and safety hazards, ensuring compliance with hotel procedures
• Assist guests during emergency evacuations and medical situations
• Ensure all Housekeeping hosts consistently follow Six Senses, LQA, and hotel service and operational standards
• Assist in developing and implementing plans to improve housekeeping operations and departmental performance
• Attend meetings and training sessions as required by management
• Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by the Housekeeping Manager or Housekeeping Director
