Key Positions Available:

• Finance & Accounts Officer (OG-I/AVP-I/AVP): (2 Positions) Requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree. Professional qualifications like CA or ICMA are also considered.
• Head NPL Monitoring VP-I/VP (Interior Sindh/Baluchistan): (1 Position) Demands a minimum of 10 years of experience in banking/financial institutions and a Bachelor's degree.

Skills

• Minimum 05 years relevant experience in Finance/Accounts
• Minimum Bachelor degree from HEC recognized Institute/University
• Professional qualification like CA, ICMA (partly qualified) will also be eligible (for Finance & Accounts Officer)
• Minimum 10 years' experience in Bank/Financial Institution (for Head NPL Monitoring)
• Knowledge of applicable IFRS/IAS and directives of SBP
• Familiarity with audit and regulatory inspection procedures
• Understanding of branch and treasury operations
• Proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) including Oracle Hyperion is an added advantage

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with branches/divisions for data collection for periodic financial statements
• Assist in preparing periodic financial statements in accordance with IFRS/IAS and SBP directives
• Coordinate with auditors and regulatory teams for data provision and audit query resolution
• Liaise with branches and treasury division for fund remittance and commercial banks
• Assist in annual budget preparation and subsequent monitoring
• Conduct control testing and compliance of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting
• Prepare monthly turnover for advance tax computation by bank's tax department
• Address data anomalies reported by branches/cost centers
• Monitor overdue accounts and initiate timely recovery actions
• Develop and implement strategies and plans for portfolio recovery
• Supervise field teams and ensure timely follow-up on defaulted accounts
• Conduct field visits to customers with overdue loans for recovery/collection
• Identify and assess risks associated with delinquent accounts
• Coordinate with legal for litigation and recovery through legal means
• Liaise with local administration and law enforcement agencies
• Manage recovery at Region/Area level
• Train branch staff on recovery procedures and systems
• Implement the Strategic Plan
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
• Stay updated on regulatory changes
