Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an HEC-recognized university
- Registration as a Professional Engineer with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC)
- At least 10 years of progressively responsible professional experience in civil engineering design, planning, and cost estimation
- Experience in preparing Engineer's Estimates, technical specifications, and bidding documents
- Good knowledge of Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) standards, Building Codes of Pakistan, and construction regulations
- Proven track record in administration, monitoring, and enforcement of civil works
- Experience with FIDIC or similar international contract standards
- Experience in projects financed by the World Bank, ADB, JICA, UN agencies, or other development partners is an advantage
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and other engineering software
- Strong analytical, communication, report writing, and coordination skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the design, planning, and cost estimation of civil engineering projects
- Oversee construction supervision and contract administration
- Ensure quality assurance of public infrastructure projects
- Prepare Engineer's Estimates, technical specifications, and bidding documents
- Evaluate civil works and ensure compliance with regulations
- Administer, monitor, and enforce civil works contracts
- Liaise with stakeholders and ensure adherence to World Bank procurement regulations
- Prepare and submit detailed reports and documentation
