Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct clinical teaching, orientation, in-service education, and competency-based training for nursing and midwifery staff
• Assess and monitor clinical competencies and provide mentorship and feedback
• Conduct bedside teaching and clinical rounds to promote safe, evidence-based practice
• Identify training needs based on clinical observations, audits, incidents, and quality indicators
• Support implementation of nursing, midwifery, patient safety, and infection prevention standards
• Develop and maintain competency checklists, training materials, and educational resources
• Maintain records of staff training, competency assessments, and certifications
• Support quality improvement, clinical audits, research, and evidence-based nursing and midwifery practice
• Prepare training reports and presentations for Nursing Management
• Perform other clinical education and professional development activities as assigned
