Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collect program data on given templates and ensure data consistency
  • Carry out monitoring visits for data validation/verification and provide technical backstopping for error-free data recording
  • Maintain database of reported data as a backup at district level
  • Monitor community mobilization process
  • Establish, manage and strengthen Accountability to Beneficiaries mechanisms at district level, including capacity building of partner organizations
  • Carry out regular field monitoring of program interventions at district level and produce monitoring reports
  • Conduct debrief sessions with relevant program staff and develop agreed action plans
  • Carry out follow-up monitoring visits to materialize actions agreed in action plans, and maintain ‘Monitoring-Action Plan Tracker’ at field level
  • Participate in review meetings at district level
  • Manage Complaint and Feedback Mechanism at district level
  • Maintain complaints and feedback tracking database and follow up on complaints to reach a resolution
  • Assist Provincial M&E staff in identifying key compliance/quality questions based on checklists and minimum standards
  • Assist implementing partners in reviewing databases and data tracking tools to maintain data quality
  • Assist in carrying out baseline surveys, monitoring and evaluation exercises, and impact assessments when needed
