Skills

• Master's Degree (Minimum 2nd Division) from an HEC-recognized university in Aviation Management, Security/Strategic Studies, or Law
• Minimum 25 years of experience orchestrating security cum protective frameworks
• At least 10 years in management/leadership employment in similar/associated roles, in Civil or Military aviation domain
• Experience of working in Multinational/ United Nations in the areas of Aviation, Operations, Security/deployments/monitoring/audits
• Exposure to quality control and compliance matters
• Experience in handling security of Aviation assets in operational environment
• Conversant with ICAO SARPs especially Annex-9 & 17 and related ICAO Docs
• Ability to work effectively in a government sector environment
• Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record in security management

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aviation security operations
• Develop and implement security policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with national and international aviation security regulations
• Lead a team of security professionals
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
• Manage security operational budgets and resources
• Liaise with governmental and international aviation bodies
• Facilitate quality control and compliance audits
• Enhance and maintain the security of aviation assets and environments
• Provide strategic direction for aviation security and facilitation
