Duties and Responsibilities:

• Direct and oversee all financial controls and accountancy operations

• Provide leadership for financial transactions, advisory, and record management
• Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements
• Oversee accountancy policies for revenue and expense recognition
• Manage asset management, liability discharge, and equity management
• Ensure comprehensive financial governance
• Develop comprehensive annual budget and financial forecasts
• Align financial forecasts with Authority's goals and strategic priorities
• Provide budget analysis and recommendations to management
• Support management in the approval and implementation of annual budgets
• Manage the external audit process
• Maintain effective relationships with external auditors
• Ensure compliance and transparency in audits
• Responsible for statutory accounts reporting and submission
• Ensure timely and accurate annual, half-yearly, quarterly, and monthly financial statements
• Submit financial statements to regulatory authorities
• Develop and manage robust system-embedded financial controls
• Facilitate efficient and compliant financial operations
• Establish and monitor internal controls
• Prevent fraud and ensure the accuracy of financial information
