• Keeping proper financial records and accounts
• Maintaining an effective system of internal financial control
• Taking an effective part in ERP implementation
• Keeping close liaison with various stakeholders including audits, and ministries/departments
• Representing University at various forums on financial matters
• Dealing with HEC on financial matters
• Ensuring that appropriate advice is given to the Syndicate / BoG of the University on all financial matters
• To monitor the financial matters of all the ADP/PSDP schemes of the University

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead financial operations and strategic fiscal planning
• Oversee budget development and management
• Maintain comprehensive financial records and accounts
• Implement and manage an effective system of internal financial control
• Participate actively in ERP implementation initiatives
• Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, audits, and government departments
• Represent the university in financial forums and meetings
• Provide expert financial advice to the Syndicate and Board of Governors
• Monitor all financial aspects of ADP/PSDP schemes
