Civil Architect Position at Dr. Ziauddin Hospital

Dr. Ziauddin Hospital is seeking a talented and experienced Civil Architect to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for career development within a leading healthcare institution. The Architect will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the construction and renovation of hospital buildings and infrastructure. This role requires a strong understanding of hospital standards and regulations, as well as a commitment to functionality, safety, sustainability, and aesthetic appeal.

• Prepare architectural designs and working drawings
• Ensure compliance with regulatory codes and safety standards
• Implement sustainable and innovative design solutions

Skills

• Knowledge of hospital architecture and functional planning
• Familiarity with civil engineering basics and MEP coordination
• Creative thinking and attention to detail
• Up-to-date knowledge of sustainable and energy-efficient building practices
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other architectural design software

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare architectural designs, layouts, and working drawings for hospital buildings and facilities
• Coordinate with civil engineers, interior designers, contractors, and other professionals throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure all architectural designs meet regulatory codes, safety standards, and hospital-specific requirements
• Conduct site surveys, feasibility studies, and technical assessments for new and existing facilities
• Prepare documentation for planning approvals, tenders, and regulatory compliance
• Implement sustainable and innovative design solutions where applicable
• Monitor construction work to ensure alignment with design plans and specifications
