Duties and Responsibilities:

• Administer oxygen therapy as prescribed
• Assist with airway management and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
• Control bleeding and manage trauma patients
• Perform patient immobilization using cervical collars, spine boards, and splints
• Assist in emergency procedures and patient stabilization
• Safely transport patients between healthcare facilities and within the hospital
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during transport
• Secure patients appropriately using stretchers and restraints when indicated
• Communicate patient condition during handover using SBAR or approved communication tools
• Ensure ambulance readiness before every shift
• Check emergency equipment and supplies daily
• Verify oxygen cylinder levels and suction equipment
• Ensure emergency medications and consumables are available and within expiry
• Maintain ambulance cleanliness and infection prevention standards
• Report equipment malfunctions immediately
