Skills

• Assess patients and perform primary and secondary surveys
• Provide Basic Life Support (BLS) according to approved protocols
• Assist in Advanced Life Support (ALS) procedures under physician supervision
• Monitor and document vital signs
• Administer oxygen therapy as prescribed
• Assist with airway management and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
• Control bleeding and manage trauma patients
• Perform patient immobilization using cervical collars, spine boards, and splints
• Safely transport patients between healthcare facilities and within the hospital
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during transport
• Secure patients appropriately using stretchers and restraints when indicated
• Communicate patient condition during handover using SBAR or approved communication tools
• Ensure ambulance readiness before every shift
• Check emergency equipment and supplies daily
• Verify oxygen cylinder levels and suction equipment
• Ensure emergency medications and consumables are available and within expiry
• Maintain ambulance cleanliness and infection prevention standards
• Report equipment malfunctions immediately
• Complete patient care records accurately and timely
• Maintain transport logs
• Document treatments, interventions, and observations
• Report incidents according to hospital policy
• Follow infection prevention and control (IPC) guidelines
• Practice hand hygiene
• Properly use PPE
• Safely dispose of medical waste and sharps
• Maintain emergency equipment including cardiac monitor, defibrillator/AED, suction machine, oxygen delivery devices, Ambu bag, spine board, splints, stretcher, and wheelchair

Duties and Responsibilities:
