Master's/Bachelors (Hons.) degree in Environmental Sciences, environmental management, environmental evaluation or related field
Certification in occupational health and safety (NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent) is desirable
At least eight (08) years of documentary verifiable relevant experience
Documented experience of preparing and reviewing ESMPS and C-ESMPs, and applying E&S screening
Experience in social sector infrastructure, preferably education or health facility construction
Experience in conducting environmental impact assessments, preparation and implementation of Environmental Management Plans, field environmental assessments of small construction projects etc
Proven report writing skills
Good oral and written communication skills in substantive and technical areas
Excellent writing, editing and analytical skills
Ability to work effectively, take initiative and deliver results
Willingness to visit sites in remote areas

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assessing environmental impacts of proposed projects
Developing and reviewing Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMPs)

Preparing comprehensive reports on environmental findings and recommendations
