Skills

• Chartered Accountant qualification with 8-10 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in financial modeling techniques
• Solid understanding of accounting and audit conventions and standards
• Hands-on experience with MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and ERP systems with a preference for Oracle
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, including budget comparisons and segment analyses
• Track actual financial results against the budget, identify variances, and provide comprehensive explanations
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and tax consultants for accurate financial statement and tax return preparation
• Analyze complex financial information to develop models and feasibility studies for informed decision-making
• Conduct business reviews and advise on strategies for revenue enhancement and cost rationalization
• Analyze local and global economic trends for budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and fund management purposes
• Ensure compliance with applicable local laws and statutory regulations
• Manage insurance-related matters effectively
• Oversee and coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes
• Enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the company's budgeting process
• Prepare ad hoc analytical reports as requested by management
• Ensure adherence to company standards, HSE policies, and all safety legal requirements
• Guide and support staff reporting within the department
