Duties and Responsibilities:

• Report on duty punctually as per schedule and provide direct supportive care to patients under nursing supervision
• Support timely patient care and ensure completion of assigned tasks
• Monitor patients' vital signs, document readings, and report abnormalities to duty staff or doctors
• Orient patients and attendants regarding hospital policies and facilities
• Assist with patient admissions, transfers, discharges, and transportation
• Change patient bedding and hospital dresses as needed
• Prepare patients, equipment, and supplies for medical procedures
• Assist with specimen collection, patient positioning, and wound-care support
• Aid patients with bathing, hygiene, feeding, mobility, and toileting
• Assist the nursing team during labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care activities
• Ensure availability and proper utilization of patient-care supplies and equipment
• Comply with hand hygiene, PPE, waste segregation, and infection prevention practices
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient-care environment
• Uphold patient safety, dignity, privacy, confidentiality, and rights at all times
• Perform any other assigned task commensurate with knowledge and skills
