E-Commerce QA Analyst Role at Imtiaz

Imtiaz is seeking an experienced QA Analyst to join their e-commerce team in Karachi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce platforms, API testing, and Agile methodologies. • 5-7 years of QA experience
• Hands-on experience with B2C e-commerce platforms
• Proficiency in API testing
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum

Skills

• 5-7 years of QA experience in E-Com marketplace or large-scale web applications
• Mandatory hands-on experience with B2C E-Com platforms
• Strong expertise in testing E-Com features and system integrations
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum
• Proficient in API testing (Postman) and basic SQL for backend validation
• Familiar with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for UI testing
• Knowledge of payment gateway processes and testing

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain test plans, cases, and scripts for all E-Com features
• Define QA strategies across functional, regression, integration, UI/UX, and performance testing
• Execute manual and automated tests across core E-Com journeys
• Log, track, and follow up on defects for timely resolution
• Perform re-testing and regression to ensure platform stability
• Ensure consistent performance across browsers, devices, and OS
• Validate data flow between front-end, backend, OMS, inventory, and payment gateways
• Work with Product, BA, and Development teams in Agile/Scrum
• Participate in sprint ceremonies and provide QA inputs
• Support process improvements and enhancements in QA tools and automation
