Skills

• Proficiency in maintaining water, steam, superheated water, chilled water, condensate, and compressed air systems
• Ability to repair and inspect pumps, valves, heat exchangers, autoclaves, cooling towers, and boilers
• Skill in reading P&ID diagrams and hydraulic drawings
• Experience with wastewater management and purification/osmosis/softening plants
• Knowledge of sanitization for water systems and legionella risk management
• Possession of a Grade II Steam Boiler Operator license or equivalent experience as a pipefitter
• Familiarity with food industry hygiene standards (HACCP, BRC/IFS)
• Understanding of safety regulations (D.Lgs 81/08)
• Willingness for on-call duty, overtime, and shift work

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform routine, emergency, and preventive maintenance on industrial hydraulic systems
• Conduct regular checks and repairs on vital plant equipment
• Interpret technical drawings and P&ID schematics accurately
• Manage and maintain wastewater treatment and purification systems
• Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace safety regulations
• Respond to urgent maintenance requests as needed
