Career Opportunity: Hydraulic Modeler at Karachi Water & Sewerage Corporation (KWSC)

KW&SC is seeking a skilled and experienced Hydraulic Modeler to contribute to the efficient management and development of Karachi's water supply system. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in hydraulic model development, calibration, and application.

As a Hydraulic Modeler, you will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of complex water distribution network models. You will collect and validate field data related to flows and pressures, compare simulation results with real-world observations for calibration, and identify interventions for system optimization and loss reduction. Collaboration with engineering and operational teams is essential to ensure model accuracy and facilitate informed decision-making. Additionally, you will prepare technical reports and present findings to stakeholders.

• Key Skills: Proficient in hydraulic modeling software, GIS, CAD, and MS Office suite.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in the water sector (consultancy or utility).
• Education: BS/BE degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with specialization in hydraulics.
• Other: Strong analytical and communication skills, fluency in English, and willingness to travel.
