Duties and Responsibilities:

Code inpatient, outpatient, and day care discharges using coding classification and TIH guidelines
Prepare standard reports from coded/abstract data under supervision
Participate in client audit meetings to enhance coding accuracy and rectify anomalies
Update histopathology of coded charts daily
Monthly update daycare and inpatient discharges reports
Monthly update discharges report on the basis of specialty
Trace and code all medical record folders not coded on the next day
Trace and code backlog discharges
Perform any other assigned tasks by the Head/Assistant Manager coding
