Duties and Responsibilities:

• Code inpatient, outpatient, and daycare discharges using prescribed classification systems and TIH guidelines
• Prepare standard reports from coded and abstract data under the supervision of the Coding Assistant Manager
• Participate in clinical audit meetings to enhance coding accuracy and rectify anomalies
• Update histopathology of coded charts daily
• Provide monthly updates on daycare and inpatient discharges reports
• Trace and code all medical record folders not coded on the previous day
• Trace and code backlog discharges
• Perform any other assigned tasks by the Head or Assistant Manager of coding
