- Seek advice from senior team members on patient health cases

- Manage laboring patients and perform vaginal deliveries
- Assess and manage patients in the ER
- Undertake specific medical procedures as advised by the Consultant

- Discuss medication on discharge with patients and write discharge summaries
- Maintain patient medical information confidentiality
- Provide urgent medical attention to staff or visitors in case of accident or illness
- Remain on hospital premises whilst on duty
- Ensure continuous cover in the absence of an RMO/SMO
- Comply with all hospital policies and procedures, especially Health and Safety
- Maintain effective interpersonal relationships with staff, patients, and families
