Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care throughout the shift
• Ensure patient care adheres to therapeutic standards
• Measure health outcomes against patient care goals
• Make or recommend necessary adjustments in consultation with physicians
• Help resolve patient problems and needs by directing or liaising with healthcare providers
• Encourage parent/guardian participation in childhood TB screening
• Facilitate doctors in data maintenance and sharing with the team
• Ensure data is up-to-date and accurate
• Maintain an adequate supply of consumables (forms, masks, gloves, etc.)
• Follow doctors' instructions for patient care meticulously
• Arrange proper follow-up with patients and ensure timely appointments
• Accompany patients for registration with the Provincial TB Control Programme
• Record and document TB registration numbers
• Facilitate patients in getting investigations done and following up on them
• Notify and report incidents related to patients, staff, visitors, and any untoward occurrences in a timely manner
• Perform delegated patient and non-patient related tasks as directed by the respective medical officer
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Head of the Department
