We have an immediate opening for the post of Officer - ADC Settlements. The job location is Karachi.

Skills
- Knowledge of relevant SBP regulations
- Proficiency in SWIFT system and SWIFT messaging
- Understanding of processing cycle of Foreign Centralized Remittance
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of ITRS
- Proficient in MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements related to electronic transactions / ADCs recon / settlements
- Understanding of IT systems / reconciliation tools
- Effective team player
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To process all inward commercial remittance requests received from SWIFT ensuring compliance of Bank's policies and all prevailing SBP regulations
- To coordinate with branches for submission of required documents in accordance with SBP Foreign Exchange Manual and Anti-Money Laundering / Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AML / CFT) guidelines
- To coordinate between different units to obtain required information and response on a timely basis
- To refer back discrepant cases to respective branches in a timely manner and follow up for rectification
- To monitor daily complaints pertaining to remittances and coordinate with respective branch staff and complaint management team for timely resolution
- To ensure transactions due diligence through scrutiny of necessary documents & Customer Profile
- To manage complaint / query handling / amendment & cancellation requests with foreign banks
- To provide knowledge copy of transmitted SWIFT message to the branches after receipt from SWIFT OPS
- To receive requests and documents from the Branches and maintain MISs
- To perform any other assigned as per prevailing SBP rules and regulations
- To perform the daily settlement of transactions across various ADCs and ensure its timelines
- To conduct regular reconciliation of transaction records, identify and resolve discrepancies promptly
- To ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies and best practices in transaction reporting and processing
- To act as a point of contact for resolving issues related to transaction settlements, collaborating with other departments as needed
- To monitor and maintain the integrity of systems and tools used for transaction processing and settlement
- To generate regular reports for management on settlement efficiency, error rates and other relevant indicators
- To coordinate with relevant branches / region / 1link / member banks / SBP / schemes for immediate settlement claims
- To address audit comments (internal & external), implement measures to minimize and curtail recurrence
- To perform any other assignment as assigned by supervisor
