Skills

• Maintain computerized inventory systems
• Ensure accurate documentation for stock reception
• Inspect and verify quantities, packaging, quality, and expiry dates
• Properly handle, place, and segregate goods by category
• Issue goods on a FIFO basis as per approval
• Maintain physical stock at optimum levels
• Raise purchase requisitions and obtain necessary approvals
• Arrange proper handling during loading, unloading, and transportation
• Coordinate with Warehouse In-charge and Procurement for inventory matters
• Report any discrepancies or important information to Warehouse In-charge
• Regularly check lock and key systems for security
• Perform assigned tasks by supervisor or HOD

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update the computerized inventory system
• Ensure all documentation is meticulously maintained for stock reception
• Verify incoming stock for quantities, packaging, quality, and expiry dates
• Organize and segregate stock by category for easy identification
• Issue goods to departments on a First-In, First-Out (FIFO) basis
• Monitor and maintain physical stock levels according to monthly consumption
• Prepare purchase requisitions and secure HOD approvals
• Oversee the safe handling of materials during loading, unloading, and transport
• Collaborate with procurement to resolve outstanding inventory issues
• Communicate any stock discrepancies or critical information to the Warehouse In-charge
• Ensure the security of the warehouse through regular checks of lock and key systems
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by supervisors that align with knowledge and skills
