Skills

• MBO level thinking and working in a relevant field like Technology or Process Industry
• Proven experience with packaging machinery, preferably in a food-related production setting
• Solid understanding of hygiene and quality regulations and procedures
• Experience in leading a small team or performing supervisory tasks is a plus
• Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written
• Readiness to work in a 2-shift system
• Accuracy, quality focus, and strong communication skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Setting up and optimizing packaging machinery settings to ensure consistent quality and throughput
• Operating and monitoring packaging lines to meet production schedules and quality standards
• Supervising production staff and assisting with training according to established procedures
• Conducting daily checks of machine and workstation hygiene, ensuring compliance with quality and hygiene regulations
• Performing first-line troubleshooting and simple technical interventions, such as clearing mechanical blockages or replacing fuses, and escalating complex electrical issues to the technical department
• Carrying out quality control checks, including visual inspections and weight measurements with digital recording, and actively contributing to improvements to reduce waste and downtime, thereby increasing efficiency
