Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely dispensing and distribution of medications, reviewing patient profiles to prevent drug interactions
• Contact prescribing physicians regarding medication order discrepancies and document interventions
• Monitor inventory stock levels and assist in managing departmental requisitions
• Receive goods from the warehouse, verifying batch numbers, expiry dates, and packaging integrity
• Ensure appropriate storage of specialized medications under specified temperature conditions
• Counsel patients and address their queries during direct medication dispensing in OPD Pharmacy
• Conduct bedside visits for direct patient care and drug utilization reviews in the Emergency Room
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and protocols for preparing supply baskets in Operating Rooms
• Review requisitions for the right drug with dose, frequency, and route of administration in Inpatient Pharmacy
• Provide drug information to healthcare professionals and maintain corresponding records
• Complete KPI and stock cover sheets during each shift
• Perform any other task assigned by the Head of Department
