Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure proper handing-over and taking-over of Pharmacy charge
Dispense and distribute medications, reviewing patient profiles and CPOE systems

Process Non-Formulary Item (NFI) requests when necessary
Ensure prompt processing and delivery of medication orders to nursing units
Monitor inventory stock levels and assist in managing requisitions
Receive goods from the warehouse, verifying batch numbers, expiry dates, and packaging integrity
Ensure appropriate storage of medications, including light-sensitive, cytotoxic, and high alert drugs
Maintain temperature monitoring and related documentation for pharmaceutical refrigerators
Conduct bedside visits for direct patient care and drug utilization reviews in ER
Review requisitions for correct drug, dose, frequency, dosage form, and route of administration
Adhere to sterile area Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and protocols
Prepare and supply baskets for requested surgeries in OR Pharmacy
Maintain and document temperature, humidity, and pressure differentials in sterile areas
Provide drug information to healthcare professionals and maintain records
Complete KPI and stock cover sheets during each shift
