Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collect blood and other specimens as per doctor's requests
• Maintain all phlebotomy equipment
• Ensure cleanliness of data collection areas
• Manage stock of phlebotomy supplies
• Properly manage sharp waste disposal
• Collect blood from wards promptly
• Generate IRS and confirm specimen collection
• Reject samples based on SOP prescribed criteria
• Perform weekly stock maintenance
• Conduct monthly maintenance of analyzers according to procedures
• Communicate with suppliers' Biomedical Departments and Engineers for analyzer issues
