- Ability to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas
- Skill in performing daily cleaning, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming
- Capability to assist in transporting patients
- Proficiency in managing departmental supplies
- Maintaining polite and professional behavior with patients and families
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain the entire assigned location in an appropriate and comfortable condition
- Complete clean turnovers/make-readies of vacant patient units
- Perform daily cleaning, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming of assigned areas
- Maintain polite, non-aggressive, moral behavior/attitude with patients and their families
- Assist in trash picking at the assigned area
- Assist transporting patients for x-rays, lab tests, and between areas
- Ensure ward equipment, patient beds, and windows are properly cleaned and dusted
- Bring departmental GS or pharmacy supplies as directed
- Remove and prepare soiled laundry from floors for washing
