Skills

• Responsible for maintaining assigned locations in an appropriate and comfortable condition
• Perform daily cleaning, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming
• Maintain polite, non-aggressive, moral behavior/attitude with patients and their families
• Assist in trash picking at the assigned area
• Assist transporting patients as directed by supervisor
• Ensure ward equipment, patient beds, and windows are properly cleaned and dusted

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain the entire assigned location in an appropriate and comfortable condition in accordance with supervisor directives
• Complete clean turnovers/make-readies of vacant patient units
• Perform daily cleaning, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and equipment cleaning at assigned areas
• Maintain polite, non-aggressive, moral behavior/attitude with patients and their families
• Assist in trash picking at the assigned area
• Assist transporting patients for x-rays, lab tests, and between areas as directed
• Ensure ward equipment, patient beds, and windows are properly cleaned & dusted in the assigned area
• Bring departmental GS or pharmacy supplies as directed by the area supervisor
• Remove and prepare soiled laundry from the floors for washing
