• Oversee all procurement activities related to laboratory fixed assets and general imports, as directed by the department head.
• Evaluate and compare received quotations to prepare detailed comparative analyses.
• Maintain and update the database for all work orders.
• Generate purchase orders for imports and coordinate with vendors and local agents to ensure timely deliveries.
• Liaise with the Finance department to execute Letters of Credit (LCs) and Telegraphic Transfers (TTs), providing necessary documentation.
• Coordinate with clearing agents and the Finance department for the release of shipments from ports, ensuring all required documents are arranged.
• Prepare work orders for repair and maintenance tasks, verifying completion approval from relevant departments.
• Review and crosscheck purchase orders against vendor prices for all general items.
• Conduct fieldwork as necessary or in urgent situations.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all purchase orders, work orders, and related documentation.
• Execute additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
