Skills

• Master's Degree in Agriculture, Agriculture Economics, or related fields
• Overall 15 years of post-qualification working experience
• Five (5) years of senior-level position experience
• Experience in dealing with foreign-funded projects (Extension, Agriculture Marketing, Crop Reporting, Water Management, Agriculture Growth Technologies)
• Knowledge of World Bank's procurement standards
• Excellent communication skills in English and local languages
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Spread Sheet)
• Report writing and leadership skills
• Ability to apply through proper channel (for government employees)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute the Agriculture component of the SWAT Project under overall lead management of the Agriculture Department, Government of Sindh
• Oversee project implementation, ensuring alignment with World Bank guidelines and project objectives
• Coordinate with various government departments and stakeholders
• Ensure effective utilization of project resources and timely delivery of project outcomes
• Contribute to increasing agricultural water productivity and crop production
