Duties and Responsibilities:
- Overall implementation and management of the Project including financial administration
- Ensure the smooth implementation of approved scope of the Project in light of approved PC-I and Financing Agreement as per IsDB's guidelines and GoAJK's rules in vogue
- Coordinate with E&S Education Department, donors, Lead Partner Organization (LPO) and other concerned stakeholders on various matters
- Ensure the timely utilization of all planned budget against approved heads fulfilling all Codal requirements
- Ensure that all the PMU Key and Non-Key staff are working as per ToRs
- Ensure submission of requisite procurement, disbursement plans and reports
- Ensure that all the procurements are carried out as per agreed procedures
- Identify the bottlenecks in the implementation of project activities and resolve in timely manner or report to the higher authorities as the case may deem fit
- Conduct the meetings of Project Steering Committee as per ToRs
- Act as Chief Engineer
- Ensure all the required actions in order to achieve the project objectives in timely and swift manner
- Prepare and submit project status and completion reports (PC-III-IV)
- Review the progress of each activity on periodic basis
- Prepare Cash/Work Plan before start of the financial year and open/manage back accounts of the project
- Update project progress in PMES/IPAS
- Establish and maintain custody of all project documents, project accounts, assist record, audit report and hire team members etc
- As a team leader, he/she would be obligated to account for all actions, steps and decisions taking during project execution
