Provincial Manager - Community Health Directorate at Indus Health Network

Skills
- 5-7 years of management experience in handling multiple grants and programs
- Effective interaction with key stakeholders including communities, donors, and government agencies
- Skills and experience in project/program implementation, monitoring, review, and evaluation
- Good understanding of finance, administration, logistics, and human resource systems
- Solid experience in proposal development, budget preparation, grants management, budget holding, and donor reporting
- Strong sense of accountability towards donors and beneficiaries
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to motivate and develop teams; effectively establish partnerships and networks
- Ability to work independently to a high professional standard
- Sensitivity to the religious, cultural & political environment
- Excellent interpersonal, report writing, and presentation skills
- Computer literate with strong expertise in Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel extensively in challenging security environments
- Proficient in writing & speaking English
- Knowledge of local languages is an advantage
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Represent the Indus Health Network (IHHN) in Baluchistan for the GF Malaria grant with relevant stakeholders to manage smooth implementation and cordial relations
- Maintain strong working relations with relevant government departments at both provincial and district levels
- Represent IHHN in government meetings, forums, and platforms
- Play a key role in obtaining necessary notifications, letters, and NoCs from the government, as well as the signing of LoUs and MoUs
- Maintain strong, collaborative relations with the SR through regular engagement, ensuring alignment with IHHN guidelines, approved workplan, and quality standards
- Proactively identify and address any gaps in implementation, ensuring the delivery of high-quality outputs, program integrity, and compliance with agreed standards
- Assist Senior Manager Programs and Communication in identification of needs and opportunities for program expansion and facilitate the designing and development of proposals to explore new funding opportunities
- Facilitate the strategic planning process in line with IHHN guidelines for the project
- Supervise administration, logistics, HR, and finance related activities to ensure compliance with IHHN and donor’s policies
- Ensure achievements of the overall program objectives as per the respective grant agreements
- Ensure implementation of effective monitoring and evaluation procedures to promote transparency, accountability, and measurable impact of all activities
- Manage timely submission of verified reports as per reporting schedules
- Provide technical support if needed
- Ensure compliance with the IHHN Policies & Procedures Manual in all processes
- Ensure compliance with the Performance Appraisal System
- Ensure compliance with the IHHN Safety and Security protocols across Baluchistan
- Hold him/herself accountable for making decisions, managing resources efficiently, achieving and role modelling the IHHN values
- Hold the team and partners accountable to deliver on their responsibilities, giving them the freedom to deliver in the best way they see fit, providing the necessary development to improve performance and applying appropriate consequences when results are not achieved
