Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain department KPIs to meet set objectives and goals.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventive and corrective actions.
• Ensure medical equipment functions according to manufacturer recommendations.
• Perform and record BDM & PPM to minimize response and resolve time.
• Conduct end-user training, maintaining relevant records.
• Ensure proper tagging of all medical equipment.
• Produce technical reports as required.
• Update the complete inventory of medical equipment.
• Supervise engineers in technical issue resolution.
• Assess environmental conditions for medical equipment.
• Organize pending jobs with junior engineers.
• Follow up on due maintenance (BDM & PPM), in-house and outsourced.
• Assist in planning, acquisition, and use of medical equipment.
• Monitor parts/consumables inventory for critical equipment.
• Take necessary action related to disposed equipment records.
• Prepare and update work instructions for all medical equipment.
• Provide EDLR forms for new equipment.
• Conduct regular site inspections and record keeping.
• Take action on received recalls and alerts.
• Ensure daily check protocol of defibrillators and other life-saving equipment.
• Deliver user training and maintain records.
• Perform operator audits on provided user training.
• Ensure safety training for Biomedical staff.
• Update and record chemicals list, as part of MSDS.
• Review and update test equipment calibration records.
• Maintain equipment UPTIME records.
• Review equipment warranty expiry and service contract checklist.
• Ensure Biomedical Tool kit safety.
