Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) plans
• Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Oversee compliance with local health department regulations
• Conduct routine daily checks on kitchen cleanliness and equipment sanitation
• Monitor employee personal hygiene and food storage temperatures (cold chain monitoring)
• Inspect incoming ingredients and raw food supplies for freshness, proper labeling, and batch coding
• Verify acceptance criteria for raw materials
• Perform or coordinate sensory evaluations (taste, texture, color)
• Conduct routine microbial or chemical testing
• Investigate customer complaints regarding food quality or illness
• Identify root causes of food safety issues
• Launch immediate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Maintain accurate logs of temperatures, audits, and test results
• Train kitchen staff on core food safety protocols
