Senior Officer - Patient Welfare at Indus Hospital & Health Network

We have an immediate opening for the post of Senior Officer - Patient Welfare.

  • Skill in identifying and assessing 'skip' patients
  • Understanding of Shariah objectives in patient welfare

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Scrutinize each patient at admission, procedure, or OPD visit using standardized assessment forms to determine Zakat or donation status
  • Obtain wakala nama (agency) from Mustahiq e Zakat patients
  • Review daily Zakat and donation status reports to identify and correct errors
  • Generate monthly inpatient assessments for Zakat and donation reports
  • Liaise with departments like Reception and paramedical staff for smooth welfare procedures
  • Provide patient welfare services and promote positive patient relations according to Shariah objectives
  • Maintain assigned locations in an appropriate and comfortable condition as per SOPs and supervisor directives
  • Identify and assess 'skip' patients (Day Care, OPD Patients) for Patient Welfare assessment
  • Share IHHN's policy that all patients are served free of cost, irrespective of their background
  • Brief patients/attendants/representatives about the assessment form, its confidentiality, and the purpose of internal fund allocation for treatment
  • Perform any other assigned tasks commensurate with knowledge and skills
