Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor the Pharmacy Store inventory
• Supervise In-Patient, ER Pharmacy, MDR-TB, Hepatitis drug management units & Cath Lab Pharmacy services
• Conduct daily visits to all Pharmacy locations and report to Asst
• Manager / Manager Pharmacy
• Monitor all clinical activities of Clinical Pharmacist and maintain relevant data
• Develop and guide Pharmacy staff on drug management and inventory control
• Provide technical and administrative support to pharmacy staff
• Ensure implementation of departmental SOPs and utilize staff as per JDs
• Arrange and document weekly/monthly departmental meetings and implement decisions
• Inspect nursing units and clinics for proper storage and distribution of medications
• Prepare and forward monthly reports on inventory status (fast/slow moving, expiry, etc.)
• Arrange surprise audits of all Pharmacy locations and submit KPI reports
• Participate in compiling the Hospital formulary and arranging committee meetings
• Conduct and arrange regular CMEs for pharmacists and technicians
• Supervise and ensure monthly physical stock checks of all Pharmacy locations
• Maintain IT systems within the pharmacy department
