Duties and Responsibilities:

• Facilitate doctors during rounds and record instructions
• Assist doctors with procedures, preparing patients physically and emotionally

• Ensure medical supply requirements are met and readily available
• Check and record blood sugar levels
• Perform blood draws and other laboratory procedures on patients
• Monitor and record vital signs, especially for pre-operative and post-operative patients
• Perform IV cannulations following established policies

• Supervise and guide Nurse Aids and Student Nurses
