Duties and Responsibilities:

• Check complete vital signs including height, weight, and pain score, reporting warning signs to the physician
• Perform verbal screening to identify high-risk patients and those with communicable diseases
• Conduct rapid testing as ordered by the doctor
• Facilitate virtual doctor-patient interaction by positioning and exposing the patient appropriately for teleconsultation
• Assist the online doctor in physical examinations and provide routine medical services like wound dressing and care as directed
• Follow doctor’s orders for each patient, clarifying concerns with prescribed treatment
• Perform IV cannulation following infection control policy if needed
• Administer medication following the rights of medications if needed
• Translate patient’s concerns during teleconsultation if required
• Ensure patients and their families understand instructions provided by the doctor
• Guide or redirect patients to different clinic departments after teleconsultation as appropriate
• Provide health education according to patient needs
• Assist in making teleconsultation appointments when necessary
• Learn and utilize information systems, maintaining accurate written information
• Safely transfer patients when required
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
• Ensure all clinics, floor stock, and emergency kits are updated, expiry is maintained, and medication is kept in a clean cabinet
• Ensure medical supply is well-stocked, properly stored, and readily available
• Report untoward occurrences or incidents related to patients, staff, and visitors in a timely manner
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment, complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Discuss any difficulties with CNI/Nursing Manager
• Perform other duties as assigned and qualified for
• Maintain cleanliness of medical equipment, check for PPM, and raise complaints for faulty equipment and PPMs
• Act as a team leader of the PCP facility and be accountable for patient safety
