Skills

• Perform comprehensive checks, calibration, and troubleshooting of anesthesia machines, ventilators, monitors, and infusion devices
• Support advanced airway management, invasive monitoring, and regional anesthesia techniques under supervision
• Ensure availability and safe handling of anesthesia drugs, gases, and consumables
• Oversee inventory control of anesthesia equipment, drugs, and disposables
• Liaise with OR nursing, ICU, emergency, and biomedical teams for seamless service delivery
• Assist in scheduling preventive maintenance and downtime planning for anesthesia equipment
• Coordinate with Biomedical Engineering and CSSD for equipment servicing and sterilization
• Actively participate in emergency codes (e.g., Code Blue, mass casualty response)
• Maintain logs for equipment checks, preventive maintenance, and repairs
• Participate in audits, incident reporting, root cause analysis, and quality improvement initiatives
• Ensure proper documentation and handover of anesthesia-related activities
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for medical gases and anesthesia systems
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control practices, and patient safety standards
• Stay updated with advancements in anesthesia technology and best practices
• Maintain professional conduct, confidentiality, and ethical standards
• Perform any other task assigned by the immediate supervisor that is commensurate with your knowledge and skills
