• Knowledge of Hematology, Biochemistry, and Microbiology procedures
• Experience with laboratory equipment operation and maintenance

• Ability to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform and validate routine and high complexity specialized laboratory tests
• Ensure uninterrupted laboratory services with optimal turnaround times
• Comply with national and international standards and IHHN Laboratory SoP’s
• Review and verify test results before reporting
• Operate, maintain, and monitor laboratory equipment and analyzers
• Adhere to duty rosters and laboratory discipline
• Report incidents, spills, or occupational exposures promptly
• Escalate critical values and urgent findings as per policy
• Ensure proper storage of samples according to sample retention policy
• Monitor designated section stocks and ensure timely availability of inventory
• Perform internal quality control and take corrective actions
• Maintain quality indicators and continuous improvement programs
• Ensure availability of reagents, consumables, and supplies while controlling costs
• Maintain appropriate records and statistics, monitor KPIs
