- Participate in antibiotic stewardship rounds to enhance patient care
- Monitor high-alert medication dispensation and provide necessary precautions
- Document all interventions accurately within the system
- Present relevant issues to the Manager, Pharmacy Services daily
- Compile and prepare monthly presentations on effective interventions
- Develop strong communication channels between pharmacies and physicians
- Identify and correct HMIS-related problems in coordination with Health Informatics
- Provide summary reports on HMIS issues to the Manager, Pharmacy
- Review and monitor stock of all crash trolley medicines
- Present monthly reports on crash trolley medicines to the Manager, Pharmacy Services
- Provide current and accurate drug information to healthcare professionals
- Record drug information data and prepare graphical reports
- Provide technical and administrative support to pharmacists and technicians
- Train interns on pharmacy practices
- Counsel doctors, staff, patients, and their families on safe drug use
- Arrange Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs on rational drug use
- Monitor and record all non-formulary drugs arranged for inpatients
