Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely provide immunization to infants, children, and adults according to formal protocols and schedule
• Ensure the availability of adequate quantities of vaccines
• Maintain the cold chain for all vaccines
• Monitor vaccine quantity and expiry dates
• Inform the Supervisor (PHI) to reorder vaccine supplies at least 02 weeks in advance
• Administer correct vaccines with the correct dosage to children according to EPI protocols
• Follow strict infection control measures and ensure the vaccination program team adheres to them
• Maintain a stock register of vaccines and ensure daily and permanent EPI program registers are maintained properly
• Collect program data on given templates
• Make phone calls to children’s parents/caregivers for follow-up visits
• Troubleshoot and support all areas of programmatic work as required
• Perform any other task requested by the supervisor
