Skills

• Technical expertise in Layer 2/3 switches, Core Firewalls, WAF, switches and IDS/IPS
• Proficiency in network operations and troubleshooting
• Experience in network optimization, including bandwidth monitoring, QoS, health checks, SLA monitoring, and preventive maintenance
• Ability to oversee implementation, commissioning, and RMA processes for network hardware
• Knowledge of physical infrastructure standards, cabling, and equipment mounting
• Capability to conduct redundancy testing, backups, and restoration verification
• Skills in implementing information security tasks, including encryption and firewalling
• Ability to maintain comprehensive documentation (SOPs, IP schemes, engineering drawings, manuals)
• Experience in managing inventory, vendor SLAs, and coordination with audit, HQ, and other teams
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and multi-tasking abilities

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage routine operations and troubleshooting for Core network elements
• Ensure optimal performance of network optimization, including bandwidth monitoring, QoS, health checks, SLA monitoring, and preventive maintenance
• Oversee the implementation, commissioning, and RMA processes for network hardware
• Ensure physical infrastructure standards, including cabling and equipment mounting
• Conduct redundancy testing, backups, and restoration verification
• Implement information security tasks, including encryption and firewalling for assigned network elements
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including SOPs, IP schemes, engineering drawings, and manuals
• Manage inventory, vendor SLAs, and coordinate with audit, HQ, and other teams
• Monitor performance and provide 24/7 support, including shift work and weekend availability
