  • Assist Head of Department / Manager QMD, primarily in JCIA related initiatives and facilitate under supervision staff in conducting JCIA related tracers
  • Develop strategies to ensure maintenance and sustainability of the hospital wide compliance to the goals and objectives of the regulatory bodies and/or Joint Commission
  • Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, including those set by health commissions and accreditation bodies
  • Facilitate clinical governance processes to improve patient safety and care outcomes
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to analyze patient care processes and identify areas for improvement
  • Supervise periodic reviews of departmental quality systems to ensure compliance to applicable standards
  • Under the supervision conduct training programs for staff on quality improvement methodologies and patient safety practices
  • Responsible for orientation of new staff employed in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Department
