Skills

• Strong experience delivering production data solutions on Azure
• Hands-on Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory expertise
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric and lakehouse architecture
• Strong SQL and Python/PySpark skills
• Experience with dbt transformations and testing
• Understanding of dimensional modelling
• Familiarity with Power BI and semantic models
• Confidence with Git, CI/CD and deployment across environments
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Own the delivery of reliable, scalable data pipelines and data products
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Build ingestion and orchestration pipelines using Azure Data Factory
• Develop transformations using Databricks, SQL and Python/PySpark
• Work with Microsoft Fabric, lakehouse architecture and data layers (Bronze, Silver, Gold)
• Develop analytical data models and reusable semantic models for Power BI
• Apply data quality checks, testing, monitoring and governance practices
• Manage code and deployments through Git, pull requests and CI/CD
• Share ideas, documentation and knowledge across the engineering team
