Duties and Responsibilities:

• Managing the region's entire business portfolio
• Supervising, maintaining, and analyzing requisite business statistics, input, and analysis in developing consumer, commercial & retail banking strategies of the bank
• Transforming the same into practical business strategy/plan
• Coordinating with branches to achieve Advances & Deposits Targets
• Preparation of annual revenue and expense budget for the regional network along with capital budget recommendation to Head Office for approval and subsequent monitoring
• Supervising the preparation, analysis, and review of the MIS reports and ensuring that such reports are produced accurately and submitted on a timely basis to the Region and Head Office
• Keeping a close liaison with Head Office to ensure compliance of all applicable policies and procedures
• Maintaining overall discipline within the Regional Network and taking administrative decisions based on applicable policy and procedures
• Being responsible for performance appraisal of the staff within the Regional Network and liaison with HR Management Division for any administrative/disciplinary measure for smooth working
• Developing a mechanism of coordination within the Region and Branches to ensure that effective business marketing, networking, and customer service efforts are synergized
• Hunting for potential market for the bank's products and developing strategies to mitigate risk appetite of the bank by maintaining a profitable portfolio by minimizing NPLs
• Monitoring branches, in terms of collection of regular advances and developing a strategy in coordination with Special Assets Management Division to monitor the recovery of slow-moving and/or stuck-up advances
• Monitoring and supervising activities within the Regional network of existing Credit portfolio in terms of segments, products, maturity, renewal, collection, and identifying potential borrowers and exploring the credit appetite of the branches and approval and disbursement of proposals of branches
